The bottom line you see every month on your present bill does include them, so when you compare your present cost with the one advertised, be sure to add another 27% if you live in New York. (In other areas, the tax still adds up to more than 20 %.) Furthermore, some quoted prices don’t include the cost of your lines, as distinct from the cost of calls.
